100. MOLIÈRE (Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, dit). Les Précieuses ridicules. Paris, Académie des bibliophiles, 1867. In-12, iv, [3] f., 91 p., [3] p., red morocco, spine ribbed and decorated (Chambolle-Duru), limited edition of 422 numbered copies, this one of the numbered copies of the main edition on Hollande laid paper. Textual reprint of the original of Les Précieuses ridicules by Louis Lacour for the Académie des bibliophiles. Beautiful binding signed Chambolle-Duru in red morocco, spine with nerfs decorated with small irons, triple filleted frame on the boards, gilt filleting on the edges, interior lace, all edges gilt. Provenances: Émile Levavasseur (1808-1891) attested by his bookplate engraved by Stern and drawn in blue, pasted on the reverse side of the cover, then A. Leher, attested by his bookplate engraved on the reverse of the second board.

Atlas of plates from Tobiesen Duby's Traité des monnaies des barons, 1790. Encyclopedic dictionary of the amusements of the mathematical and physical sciences, of the processes (...) of white magic, 1792, with its atlas of 86 plates. Medical works in O.E. including Pinel, Gintrac. 19th century fashion magazines with patterns. Suite of 18 lithographs of costumes by Numa. First editions of Balzac, Chateaubriand, Lamartine, Mauriac, Morand, etc. Nice set of 730 plates concerning Victor Hugo. Illustrated books by Boullaire, Lemarié, Cocteau, Picasso, etc.

Bordeaux regionalism, including Constant's Album du voyageur à Bordeaux illustrated with 104 plates; Léo Drouyn's Un coin de l'Entre-Deux-Mers au XVIIe siècle; Saint-Rieul-Dupouy's L'Eté et l'Hiver à Bordeaux with beautiful dispatches, a handwritten Bordeaux armorial by Vacher de Boisville which has remained unpublished and contains numerous heraldic descriptions.
