* 168. DE GAULLE (Charles). Towards the professional army. Paris, Editions Michèle De Trinckvel, 1988. 2 vol. in-4°. Red chagrin with inlay on the first plate of a V in navy blue basane and decoration composed of a cross of Lorraine and a geometric set of nets in gold, spine with false nerves, gilt head, lined case. The suite of original lithographs by Jacques Pecnard is set in a red half-chagrin folder, titled spine and its lined case. Edition at 525 copies, one of the 40 on large Arches vellum signed by the artist, including a lithograph signed in the frontispiece, and a suite of the twenty original lithographs, all signed and numbered.

New dictionary of natural history in 24 volumes, illustrated with 264 plates. Grew's Anatomy of Plants, 1675. Reunion des protestants à Strasbourg, 1687, in red morocco with the arms of France. Atlas of plates from Tobiesen Duby's Traité des monnaies des barons, 1790. Encyclopedic dictionary of the amusements of the mathematical and physical sciences, of the processes (...) of white magic, 1792, with its atlas of 86 plates. Medical works in O.E. including Pinel, Gintrac. 19th century fashion magazines with patterns. Suite of 18 lithographs of costumes by Numa. First editions of Balzac, Chateaubriand, Lamartine, Mauriac, Morand, etc. Nice set of 730 plates concerning Victor Hugo. Illustrated books by Boullaire, Lemarié, Cocteau, Picasso, etc.

Bordeaux regionalism, including Constant's Album du voyageur à Bordeaux illustrated with 104 plates; Léo Drouyn's Un coin de l'Entre-Deux-Mers au XVIIe siècle; Saint-Rieul-Dupouy's L'Eté et l'Hiver à Bordeaux with beautiful dispatches, a handwritten Bordeaux armorial by Vacher de Boisville which has remained unpublished and contains numerous heraldic descriptions.
