In folio in sheets, in a filled cover, yellow and red illustrated folder and case. Edition at 500 copies, this one of the 100 numbered copies of the first edition on vellum of Rives with a suite of lithographs. Case a little worn and partially cracked. - CARLEGLE (Charles-Emile, ill.) & Louis-Charles ROYER. La fermière nue. Paris, Martin Kaelin, 1928. In sheets under illustrated filled cover and case. Limited edition of 301 numbered copies, this one of the 20 HC in Roman numerals. The licentious historiettes in verse are illustrated with erotic compositions by Charles-Émile Egli dit Carlègle (1877-1937), colored with stencils. Case in poor condition. - CHAPELAIN-MIDY (Roger, ill.) and LABISSE (Félix, ill.). The meaning of things. Bièvres en Essonne, P. de Tartas, 1979. 2 vol. in-4, black basane binding, first plate decorated with a gilt drawing, gilt head, lined case. First edition limited to 2000 numbered copies, this one of the 200 numbered copies on japon nacré with the illustrations printed on silk, and two complete suites of the hors-texte in color enclosed in a basane-backed folder in a separate case. Sent by Roger Chapelain-Midy (1904-1992) on the title page. The work includes 12 original compositions by Chapelain-Midy and a portrait of the artist by Felix Labisse (1905-1982). - FONTANAROSA (Lucien, ill.) & FLAMBERT (Nicolas). The collection gathers 107 watercolors, paintings or drawings by Yves Brayer (1907-1990). Discoloration and foxing to the slipcase, a trace on the endpaper and minor defects.
