Beautiful flat desk with inlaid decoration of rosettes or fleurons in falls on a tobacco background in the spirit of Jean-François Leleu; the rich decoration of chased and gilded bronze such as falls, frames... is completed by porcelain plates with polychrome bouquets in four-lobed reserves standing out against blue and gold backgrounds; these plates are underlined and maintained by frames with wide amatized flats belted with ribboned rushes. Rectangular in shape, the top is sheathed in worn tan leather; the belt opens to three drawers and rests on sheathed legs.
