The case is later. It is a French gold case signed exclusively by Clerc Paris, a renowned jeweler-watchmaker on Place de l'Opéra. The jeweler-creator probably made the case to accommodate the Rolex dial and movement. A unique custom-made piece. The watch comes directly from the family of the original owner.
