Paul COMOLERA (1818-1897) for CHOISY Large polychrome enameled ceramic flower holder featuring a stork holding a frog in its beak, in front of a flowering trunk. Signed P. Comoléra on the terrace, debossed "HB Choisy" and underglaze "Choisy". H. 70 cm (Important chip on the heel from which a long fele extends to the stork's paste, the latter largely restored. One of the stork's legs is missing. Restorations to the paste and plants. The frog is missing a piece of paste, and the lotus flower is missing a petal. Restorations to a leaf and to the tips of the stork's feathers. Chips)
