First and only illustrated large in-8 collective edition. The copy contains a postcard signed by Édouard Driault (1864-1947), dated January 15, 1935 and addressed to Cornelis Helling (1901-1995), in which the historian explains to the eminent Vernien that he read Le Tour du monde en quatre-vingt jours with passion at the age of 14, but never had the opportunity to meet the author.Spine a little insolated, endpapers reinforced at their hinge, minor flaws.
