Rectangular tortoiseshell box with two handles. The silver mount features finely chased decoration on the corners, depicting facing leaf-and-scroll motifs on a hammered background, and an animal-shaped clasp. The interior has two compartments. Probably an 18th-century Indo-Portuguese piece 10 x 21 x 12.5 cm (minor chips on the mount, one side needs to be reattached, typical restoration marks)
