Directoire-style sloping desk that opens at the top via a flap revealing a large niche, six drawers, two storage compartments, and a secret compartment (shelf missing); the top is covered in leather. The lower section has five drawers arranged in three rows. Spindle legs. Original brass lock plates and drawer pulls with a slightly raised relief design featuring flowers, foliage, and grains in a concentric pattern. Includes a key for the flap. 103 x 112.5 x 56 cm (Standard restoration; keys for the lower section’s drawers are missing)
